I’m Jacquelyn Meissner, LMFT. I provide bilingual therapy (English/Spanish) for individuals and couples seeking clarity, healing and meaningful change. My approach blends support that is flexible, relational and trauma informed.
I believe therapy should feel safe & practical, an environment where you can be honest, explore what matters most and learn tools that make daily life easier. My style is compassionate, relational and grounded in evidence based methods, while also responsive to your unique needs.
I integrate various clincial modalities to support healing from the inside out. Some sessions may focus on developing concrete coping tools, while others may explore deeper emotional patterns or relationship dynamics. Above all, I see therapy as a collaborative process. We’ll work together to clarify your goals, move at a pace that feels right for you and build confidence and resilience needed for lasting change.
Couples and individuals come to me when they want to restore trust, deepen communication and feel securly attached again. I believe therapy should meet you where you are, whether you’re rebuilding after betrayal, navigating anxiety, depression or simply seeking more clarity in your relationships and daily life.
What You Can Expect in Our Work Together
In our sessions, I weave together structured clinical apporaches with peronalized tools that promote awareness and reflection. Depending on your needs, we may focus on:
DBT & CBT: Practical strategies for managing intense emotions, asking for what you need in your realtionships and interventions that help incresae your tolerence to your distress.
Mindfulness & Nature-Based Practices: Helping you ground and stay emotionally centered so you can respond instead of react in moments of uncertainty.
EMDR & Somatic Processing: Using EMDR concepts and body based techniques, we can process painful memories while also connecting physical symptoms with emotional wounds. This work supports integration and embodied self-compassion, helping you feel more connected and whole.
Each individual path looks different sometimes we focus on skill building, underdstaning old feelings you have been carrying for a long time and sometimes honoring what surfaces for us in the moment. My role is to help guide you in finding a steady, sustainable way forward.
